We’ve got teams, athletes, and fans using blogs to express and share their passion for various sports.
9. How-to, tips and reviews:
There are lots of blogs that share tips and reviews about cooking, products, games, music, books, movies, and so on.
I have created a category called Blog Power. This is an example of Blog Power.
Yesterday I received an email from a fellow blogger asking for help getting writers for her cookbook. I posted this request on one of my blogs and asked others to share it also. I also included a link to her site. This will generate a link to her site. I also used good keywords in the tags and headline of the post.
Here is the message that I posted on Rosies Boomer Review:
My Country Kitchen is desperately in need of your help!! I’m writing a cookbook for the 99 Series. This cookbook is for DADS who don’t know how to cook, but want to spend valuable time with their children. Food is an awesome way to spend quality time together. I want to add stories about Dads and kids cooking together in the kitchen. It can be funny, kitchen disasters, or inspirational stories of what went on with Dad and kids in the kitchen. If your story is selected to be in the cookbook, we will put your name and website address with your story in the cookbook in hopes to give you some exposure. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I need these stories as soon as possible. Our goal is to have this cookbook out by Father’s Day, 2009.
Think about how you can do the same thing with your blogging.
